Dear Patricia: you couldn't get rid of us! And we would love to come back,
this place, warm, you so "accueillante"
(welcoming), trees, flowers, birds, Fransisco, the ocean,
the rain, the wind, the village, the people, Tina, the small and smiling
restaurant, this Garifuna world and the
diversity....a moment of life in our heart, thank you. Merci beaucoup.

Came for 7 nights, stayed for 10 - says it all!!
Cockscomb Basin
trip was excellent - just don't expect too much in the way of wildlife
(however, we did see a puma!) Diving at Glovers Reef as good as anywhere in
the world. Very quick Internet at Sittee River,
the village is worth a trip in itself. The friendly locals make this a very
special place. We've been travelling for 6 months
and this place has been one of the highlights!

Tipple Tree was a splendid place to start
and end our time in Belize.
The room was clean and cool, the cleaning
lady was very sweet and Trish was lovely.
We enjoyed the beautiful view and the friendly Hopkins
villagers. We hope to come back
someday!

Thanks so much for answering all of my questions on Belize
and Hopkins via e-mail for our
pre-trip planning. Your place here really rocks - the best accommodation in Hopkins.
We'll definitely come back for the beautiful view and the most comfortable
hammocks in the world!

Hier ist es total gemutelich, in der Haengematte haengen, die Aussicht geniessen und einfach einmal richtig relaxen. Ein absolute Geheimtipp!!
See you again.

I'm totally impressed! Until now (and I guess it'll be for longer) this is the
most beautiful hotel room I ever had on my individual travels. In the
evenings listening to music, I felt sitting here like an explorer writing a
book about his travels, and in case I'd have time...I guess I'd finish this my "explorer book" sitting here on this
table. Great creative atmosphere - be proud of it!

Trish is a wealth of information regarding Garifuna
culture and the surrounding areas. Definitely check out Xunantunich
Mayan ruin if interested in Mayan culture.
The locals are friendly and the country is gorgeous.
We had a great time!

We've stayed here for the last four days and we enjoyed the peaceful
atmosphere of Hopkins, Garifuna people, and the
attention of our host, Trisha.
Tipple Tree Beya is full of details that we appreciated, the clean sand
beach, the hammocks on the veranda, the brewed coffee, the architecture of
the place,
it's decoration, the plants, the orchids, etc....
Thank you, see you again Trisha.

After a dozen years of living in and visiting Belize,
Tipple Tree remains among my very favorite places to hang out and enjoy
myself. Thanks Patricia!

The view alone was worth the trip - but Hopkins
has much more to offer. Such an amazing energy resides here. Trish was
too kind. Thanks for making Hopkins
a great memory for us!

diving and hiking Cockscomb.

We so appreciated this stay. I am a biologist and my husband an
anthropologist and we had been in the rainforest doing field work for 5 days
and your place was paradise! If we didn't have to continue onward we would
stay awhile. Thank you for your hospitality and we will come back in the
future when we can stay for a vacation!

We had the very best time here. Tricia you are a great hostess.
Thank you so much for helping us line up tours to the jungle and the ruins.
The village of Hopkins
made us feel like locals - everyone is so nice and friendly. We enjoyed the
dives we had to the atolls - this country is beautiful.
Loved watching the manatees our last day - what a treat!

Garifina Settlement Day - Nov 19 - was a neat
experience.
What a wonderful place! Hopkins, Tipple Tree and surrounding area. People
here are so friendly and a joy to speak with. Tricia was such a great hostess
and very helpful. We loved relaxing in the hammocks, stargazing at night,
talking to the locals and soaking in all the local culture. Cockscomb tour
was great and the afternoon kayak on Boom Creek and Sittee River
was peaceful. Crocs, iguana, blue morpho
butterflies, and egrets!
We'll be back some day!

Trish is full of knowledge and we were full of questions. Great place to
stay. Beautiful people here in Hopkins.
If you have the time rent Trishas kayaks and go
down Boom Creek and kayak into the river, so relaxing and beautiful..

without a clue where we would hang our hats. Greeted by the locals they
pointed us to Tipple Tree Beya and we couldn't have found a better

Calming waves and sounds of the shore. Peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, I would
have liked to spend longer here in Hopkins.
Everyone I passed by was
very friendly. At Lebeha bar and drumming centre I
was treated to an impromptu show of music
and dance by the local kids. A must see. It was amazing. Until I return....
